Need more personalized support during your treatment?

I provide tailored treatment plans that can include extended sessions, facilitating doctor’s visits, family sessions, and support navigating treatment.

I know that life isn’t fair or easy.

I’ve shared in patient’s fears that life will never be the same and wanting to just feel “normal” again.

Working in cancer most of my career as a psycho-oncologist, I’ve witnessed how helpless one can feel and how overwhelming juggling doctor’s appointments, work, family can be.

I’ve grieved with families at the loss of their loved ones and I’ve celebrated victories.

Over the last 20 years, I’ve seen how medicine has allowed us to live longer, my aim is to help make life worth living.  I have worked as a clinician, researcher and mentor to multi-disciplinary health professionals within cancer, cardiology, pain and diabetes.  I stay up to date with advances in medicine, particularly within oncology.  I’ve witnessed how medical advances have shaped the psychosocial experiences of patients and their families, particularly throughout the early stages of diagnosis, across treatment and into terminal stages of disease.

You’re life is busy enough with all these doctor’s appointments, so I want out time together in psychotherapy to be as efficient and effective as possible.  I apply evidence-based strategies that are tailored to where you are with the illness, the severity of your distress and socio-cultural background.  Most of my research has focused on how we can get support to those who need it, within the cancer of chronic health conditions, namely cancer.  I apply all this experience to my work to provide you support tailored just for you!
